About Maggie

I run Track & Cross Country for Purdue University

I enjoy everything in life from being extremely active and athletic to sitting around all day to read a good book. I am a Florida girl so I have become accustomed to doing practically everything outside. I love taking strolls with my dogs, running, biking or walking down Bayshore Blvd in Tampa. The view of downtown Tampa is one of the most gorgeous sights I’ve ever seen. I attend college at Purdue University where I compete on the Track and cross country teams. Going up to Indiana has been the biggest eye opener of my life. It has taken me three years to no longer be homesick during the winter and to fully embrace all four seasons. I am now in love with the country side, the gold and yellow corn fields contrasting the plush green forests is now one of the most comforting sights to me. I like being comfortable, whether its wearing an old pair of sperry boat shoes or visiting a familiar place, I love feeling at ease with myself.

Yet despite my desire of comfort I am also a girl of fashion. I love the feeling of silk shirts on my skin with a nice pair of dark jeans to contrast the bright Florida colors I always wear. In Indiana I tend to stand out with my hot pinks, baby blues and florescent hues. Although my athleticism contrasts my girlish style, sports are the dominant aspect of my personality. I am a competitor at heart whether its running in college or simply playing a game of scrabble, I love pushing myself to the limit where I can always experience new things. Hence why I have created this blog. I have many opinions, none too political or judgmental, just ideas based off my experiences of a female, stylistic athlete with a lot on her mind.
